JOB SUMMARY: This is a commercial formwork carpenter position within the civil division and Power & Construction Group. This position is responsible for repairing and erecting structures, working with wood, plastic, fiberglass, and other materials, utilizing chisels, planes, saws, drills, and sanders to repair.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is subject to extensive physical activity and strenuous work. This position requires working on stilts, ladders, on top of beams of buildings, and bridges.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a wide variety of worksite and climate conditions, including constant exposure to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, and smoke.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
