JOB SUMMARY: The Field Engineer provides full time support to the Project Manager and/or Superintendent.  This position is responsible for assistance with planning the day-to-day operation on a project, including labor, equipment, supplies, etc. to ensure the project stays on track.

REPORTS TO:       Project Manager     


  • Provide support to multiple construction sites.
  • Works closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure safety, quality, efficient service, customer satisfaction and maximized profits.
  • Assist in procurement of materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules.
  • Observes work in process to ensure that work conforms to specifications.
  • Ensures that safe work habits and good engineering practices are followed.
  • Prepares reports and maintains daily documentation regarding project progress.
  • Prepare pricing for change orders, additional work or small projects.
  • Prepare, submit, track, and review RFI’s, submittals, and other forms of documentation.
  • Provide on-site support as needed to maintain project deadlines.


  • Accomplishes all other duties and tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.


  • High school diploma or GED and a minimum of three (3) years of experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college and/or university in Engineering or relevant field with a minimum experience of one (1) year of professional pre-graduate or post-graduate experience.
